Fall temperatures were dropping, the weather was drizzling with glimpses of sunlight, we were scooting across Cache Lake in a motorized canoe to lovely Bartlett Lodge and saw this iconic setting.  I choose a shortened palette, a triad of ultramarine violet, red orange and viridian green., white and touches of primary yellow.
